My mission is to empower individuals on their journey of healing, growth, and self-discovery by providing a safe, affirming, and person-centered therapeutic space. I work with adolescents & adults—including those from BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and other underserved communities—recognizing that no two journeys are alike. Each treatment is uniquely tailored to honor your lived experiences and personal goals.
Through our work together, I aim to help you enhance self-awareness, identify and shift unhelpful patterns, communicate more effectively, process trauma, and improve your overall well-being—both individually and in your relationships.
I am deeply passionate about destigmatizing mental health in BIPOC and marginalized communities and making therapy more accessible and relatable. It’s my honor to support people from all walks of life as they reconnect with themselves, build stronger boundaries, and create healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Everyone deserves the opportunity to heal and grow. I'm here to walk alongside you—wherever you are in your journey.

Welcome. I’m so grateful your path led you here. 💛
I wear many names: therapist, wife, daughter, sister, friend, veteran.
At heart, I’m simply human—like you—navigating the delicate dance of life, sometimes stumbling, sometimes soaring, always striving to hold it all together (and yes, I know what it feels like to fall apart).
That’s why I created Bee Courageous Counseling PLLC: a gentle haven where you can finally exhale, set down your burdens, and let your true self breathe. Here, there’s no need for masks, no pressure to have all the answers—just honesty, healing, and space to grow at your own pace.
This career path chose me long before I ever recognized it. Life experience, empathy, and a kind of forced resilience have shaped how I show up in the therapy room. I know the ache of intergenerational trauma, the weight of CPTSD and PTSD, and the quiet battle with self-worth. What I’ve learned through it all is how to meet people from a human space—not as a clinician behind a desk, but as a teammate walking beside you through the healing process.
I hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Golden Gate University, and I specialize in working with individuals and families impacted by intergenerational trauma, complex trauma (CPTSD), PTSD, anxiety, and self-worth challenges, particularly within the BIPOC community. My approach is culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and grounded in compassion and realness.
If any of this sounds familiar—
The anxiety that won’t loosen its grip.
The ache of disconnection.
Life piling on, wave after relentless wave, until you’re too tired to pretend you’re okay—
I see you. I’ve stood in that storm. And you don’t have to weather it alone.
Working with me is like having a teammate in your corner—through laughter and tears—as we untangle the heavy stuff, set boundaries, heal old wounds, and rediscover the real you, one brave step at a time.
We are all honeybees at heart—gathering the sweet and the bitter, turning life’s wild nectar into something golden and new.
